Welcome to the Anofi & Gace Guobadia Foundation website

Anofi & Grace Guobadia Foundation (AGGF) was constituted in 2006 to continue with the humanitarian work of the late Dr. (Mrs.) Grace Adaria Guobadia. Having benefited from Government scholarships in both her secondary and university education, in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, which resulted in her becoming the first female surgeon in Nigeria, Dr. (Mrs) Guobadia initiated the scholarship programme as her way of giving back to society. It began in 2000 when she offered scholarships to two girls in Queen's College, Lagos, her alma mater.

In 2006, the foundation was officially registered with the added objective of providing potable water to needy communities in order to halt the spread of water-borne diseases.

AGGF Aims and Objectives:

  • To award scholarships to deserving girls in secondary and tertiary institutions.
  • To provide water in the form of boreholes to deserving areas in the 36 states of Nigeria.
